I try to use this https://forum.graphene-theme.com/graphene-support/empty-page-with-children-and-excerpt-images#post-2822,but with without success!December 2, 2011 at 5:42 pm #20486JoshMember
Are you using a child theme? The example from the thread you referenced is duplicating the loop.php file and adding it to their child theme, making the modification there.December 2, 2011 at 6:21 pm #20487
Yes, I have child theme.December 2, 2011 at 7:23 pm #20488
I duplicate the file and made changes, but without result.December 3, 2011 at 12:45 am #20489
Try Graphene Options >> General >> Child Page OptionsDecember 3, 2011 at 9:29 am #20490
Yes, this was the first thing I did, but unfortunately it does not work, only then tried duplicating loop.php and made changes in it, but this solution also does not work for me.
In addition, after each post appears blank strip, and I do not know how to remove?
Please help to solve these problems in the most elegant wordpress theme?December 3, 2011 at 9:32 am #20491
Here you will see the problems :nuancet.euDecember 3, 2011 at 4:57 pm #20492
The blank strip is most likely your Google Adsense space. You have activated it, but not entered any code. Deactivate it, and the blank strip should go away.
Are you talking about the parent page in the menu? You would want to use a custom menu and then try this:December 3, 2011 at 7:49 pm #20493
You are right for the strip. Thank you!
Concerning this “dummy link with the name of the parent page you don’t want clickable”, I am a complete novice and please expalin more detailed where I must include this ….
Thank you in advance!December 3, 2011 at 8:01 pm #20494
You would want to use a custom menu (Appearance >> Menus)
This post will tell you how: http://blog.kjodle.net/2011/08/25/how-to-create-and-use-custom-menus-in-wordpress/December 3, 2011 at 9:03 pm #20495
OK, I have custom menu and must add to this menu custom URL, like http://#. with Custom Link Label with the name of the parent page?December 3, 2011 at 9:11 pm #20496December 3, 2011 at 9:33 pm #20497Syahir HakimKeymaster
You can actually delete the dummy link after you have added the custom link. That will cause the menu item to be not clickable at all.December 3, 2011 at 10:28 pm #20498
I created a custom menu aading Pages I see from the left on Appearance/Menu. For the empty parent pages I use Custom Links put only # and Label is the Name of the Empty Parent Page. After that I “add to Menu” this custom link. I make something wrong because no result.
