I have entered the following html in a post:

<p id="blue_text">Testing for blue text</p>

I want this text to be visible in the post…..but I also want this text to be hidden when the post is viewed in an excerpt view. Anyone know the best way to accomplish this?

Use manual excerpt for that post. In the Edit Post screen, click on the “Screen options” pull-down tab near the top right corner of the page. Then tick the checkbox for “Excerpt”. You can then enter the excerpt for the post manually.

Thanks for the response Syahir. What if I wanted this text for every post? Is there an easier way than writing manual excerpts for each post?
