Header issue is preventing site from loading
-
Good evening guys. I’m getting the following error when I go to http://www.masalafusiondance.com :
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/86/7923186/html/wp-content/themes/graphene/admin/options-import.php:38) in /home/content/86/7923186/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 881
It does not happen when I go to masalafusiondance.com but only when I add the www at the begining. It will not let me get to the wp-admin page in either instance.
Searching the Forum off of the “pluggable.php” portion of the error I found similar topics where the resolution seems to be plug-in related but this one reads like graphene may be the culprit. Do you agree? Do you have suggestions for resolving the error (keep in mind that I can’t log in to the WordPress Dashboard.
Thanks for your time.
Hmmm… what were you doing just prior to receiving the warning? I would first try using FTP and temporarily renaming the ‘plugins’ directory.
Go to “wp-content/plugins”… and rename it to “wp-content/plugins-testing”.
Then see if you can access your site. If you cannot.. change the name back.. and let us know.
That’s always the million dollar question. Last time I was in there was Monday but just to find something on the site…I didn’t try and log in. The client was going in to post and she is the one who notified me of the problem. Of course the client says she didn’t do anything :-).
I renamed the plugins directory as plugins_testing and it doesn’t appear to have changed anything. Still getting the same error. Any ideas you have would be appreciated.

Can you try turning on WP_DEBUG?
Sorry for the delay. I was away from computer all weekend travelling. I have gone into the wp-config.php file and changed WP_DEBUG to true. I hope this is what you are requesting as I’ve never used WP_DEBUG before. I appreciate any suggestions you have and, as always, thanks for your time.

Can you replace all of the theme’s files with a fresh copy via FTP?
Deleted the theme’s files and replaced with fresh 1.8.3 files via FTP. It appears to have fixed the problem (haven’t thoroughly tested but at first glance all looks good). I’ve renamed the plugins directory back to plugins and I’ve changed WP_DEBUG from true back to false. If you need any of these reset because you want to do some trouble shooting/diagnostics let me know. Thanks for your help. You can mark this issue resolved if you wish. Craig

Marking thread as resolved. You can do this yourself as well.

It’s probably just that somehow one (or more) of the theme’s files are changed, thus causing the issue.
