Recently I added a child template, and since than, my header is messed up, and I cannot seem to change it. Also the menu is above the header, and I’m uncertain how to rectify these issues.

I so appreciate your time and your expertise.

How did you create your child theme? From what I can see it’s likely that you didn’t create the child theme correctly.

I see what I did wrong with the child theme template, ( I had the css wording wrong) and the website looks fine while I am logged in, since I made the child theme template changes.

But when I put the website in, the custom header and menu is a mess.

No, you’re not actually using a child theme, but a customised version of the Graphene theme. Make sure you follow the instructions here carefully:

I watched and followed Josh’s video. Followed through with the files. And copied the code you created. The area I get messed up is creating the FTP file. So I created a zip file of the file of the graphene.child template, and than downloaded and uploaded.

I may be over my head, thank you for your help, Syahir.
