I just updated Graphene 1.4 as suggested and now I can’t get my header to display properly? I went to the style.css and then edited the functions.php to make the header size 960 x 454. I did it successfully and when I go to the appearance – header option it reads:
‘You can upload a custom header image to be shown at the top of your site instead of the default one. On the next screen you will be able to crop the image.
Images of exactly 960 × 454 pixels will be used as-is.’
But once I upload my custom header image that is 960 x 454, it still shows as cut off if you visit my site. I am very confused. Please help. Thanks!
I was able to change it seconds ago before you replied. I went to the style.css and changed it to:
#header {
background-position: center top;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
border-top:1px solid #000;
height: 454px;
width: 100%;
position: relative;
and it worked.
I do have another question with 1.4, the navigation menu is acting funny now. How can I get it to not show up with a description under my two pages (‘About’ and ‘Contact Us’)? Thanks!
Sorry I fixed my own problem Syahir Hakim. I just reread your note on the nav menus. Again thank you for your patience with me! Cheers!
