    On a steep learn curve here with learning how to set up Child Themes and discovering code with Firebug… but managing to sort out most of my issues except with changing the fonts and colours in the two different types of Widgets. Can anyone throw me the life raft?

    This is the coding I’ve identified to change the widget text –

    ***Page/Post/Link Widgets***

    .sidebar ul li {
    border-bottom: 1px solid #E3E3E3;
    line-height: 15px;
    padding: 6px 0;
    }
    .sidebar, .sidebar p, .sidebar li {
    color: #000000
    font-family: verdana;
    font-size: 14px;
    }

    ***Sidebar Text Widgets***

    .sidebar ul, .sidebar ol, .sidebar p {
    color: #000000;
    font-family: verdana;
    }

    ***Footer Text Widgets***

    .sidebar, .sidebar p, .sidebar li {
    font-family: verdana;
    font-size: 14px;
    }

    1) Whatever I do, I can’t get the font color of the Pages/Posts/Links widgets to change from Blue to Black!!

    2) I can’t figure out how to change the style in the Pages/Posts/Links widgets, without affecting the Text Widgets. ie when I change the Page Widget titles to bold – it changes all the Text Widget text to bold too!!

    I’ve read all through the previous forum posts about this subject but either couldn’t find the answer or missed it. Can anyone please help me?

    My domain is http://www.parkrowhairdressing.com if this is any use.

    Many thanks in advance

    Have you tried:

    a, a:visited {
    color: #000000;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    Kim, thank you SOOOOO much… I was beginning to get desperate! I’m not sure why it works, I will look later to see where it appears in the layout of the original css, but you have really helped me out here. Thank you once again, I appreciate it.
