Graphene Mobile Fails to Install

I purchased Graphene Mobile, downloaded the zip file and then from within WordPress Desktop uploaded it (the plug-ins, add new, upload method) and I get an error –

Installing Plugin from uploaded file: graphene-mobile.zip

Unpacking the packageâ€¦

Installing the pluginâ€¦

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

Plugin install failed.

It seems you’re uploading it as a plugin. Go to Dashboard –> Appearance –> Themes –> Install Themes, click on Upload link and select graphene-mobile.zip file and hit Install Now button.

Definite progress. However I still got stuck

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install failed.

Thank you very much. I seem to have gotten everything installed, and I did not activate the mobile theme. However my problem now is that the slider that shows my blog posts doesn’t show up on my home page… is there some way I can configure it so that there is easy access to the blogposts without changing my desktop view?
