    Hi everyone,

I’m new to blogging. I installed wp 2.7 to my website and downloaded grapheme 1.3.1. After I selected this theme for my blog every internal link in the blog admin section (including the logout and wp update links) leads to this error message:

“Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Widget’ not found in /mnt/webg/c0/89/52869389/htdocs/wp-content/themes/graphene/functions.php on line 756”

This message is also shown on the actual website and the source code Firefox shows for the webpage is:

    <b>Fatal error</b>: Class ‘WP_Widget’ not found in <b>/mnt/webg/c0/89/52869389/htdocs/wp-content/themes/graphene/functions.php</b> on line <b>756</b>

External links in the admin section (e.g. to wp) work fine.

Has anyone ever come accross this problem before?

That’s probably because it’s not compatible with that version of WordPress. 2.7 is such an old version…why don’t you install the latest version, 3.1.3?

Thank you very much for your quick reply. I did as you said and it is working fine.

Sorry for the newbie question and thanks that you took the time to answer it. 🙂
