Graphene background image
-
I’ve found that setting my own bckground image for graphene knocks out a couple of buddypress plugins that set the background image used to one specific to the group or user (when the user profile is viewed.
I’m not sure of the in’s and outs of the issue in particular, but it strikes me that if I know the location and name of the default background image, then I can over-write this with my own and solve the problem.
Any ideas what this is?

Are you talking about the main background image? Can you post a link or a screen cap to demonstrate this?
I’m talking about the black Tevlar effect image used to create the image for the sides of the screen, you change it normally by selecting Appearance – background and selecting a new image

That should be covered up by the main content area of Graphene, so it shouldn’t leak through to anything. I don’t see this happening anywhere on your main page.
Setting a background image stops two plugins from working, leaving it as default allows them to work. so I’m asking for the name and location of the file that is used to create the default background image so that I can experiment by over-writing this with my own background.
If you go to my test site – www,sacredvale.org and click on the “new Group” forum, you will see the effect I am trying to achieve. Only I want to use my own background for the main site, not the default.

Thanks, I’ll pass it to the plugin developer, see if it helps.
