!–more– function in editor does not work anymore

    WP Version 3.9

    Graphene Version: 1.9.2

I don´t know exactly, but it seems, that since I updated to WP 3.9, the More-Tag used via the editor does not work anymore.

Although it will be inserted into the post (visual and html Tab) correctly, it shows not up in the published post, if I go to “View post”.

    Any reasons for that?

I presently use the WP default Editor, because the Ultimate TinyMSE Editor does not work anymore correctly with WP 3.9 according its developer.

How can I bring it back to work again?

    Thanks for help!

WordPress 3.9 now incorporates TinyMCE version 4, which is a huge upgrade to TinyMCE. That means that any plugin that affected the TinyMCE editor needs to be rewritten. Rather than rewrite Ultimate TinyMCE, Josh decided to create a new plugin: WP Edit. You can download it here:

    Hi, Kenneth,

Thanks for the Link to WP Edit.

However, this change does Not work either. The Problem remains The same.
