I have seen that there is now an option in the graphene theme options to have a full width slider using the built in graphene slider, but what would be the best way to do this with an independent slider (meaning a slider other than the built in slider). I saw earlier posts about adding some code to the functions.php file. The slider I’m using can be implemented to the page via shortcode. Could I use this older technique and apply those classes to the independent slider by wrapping it in a div? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Firstly, you’ll need to somehow insert the slider’s shortcode in place of Graphene’s slider. Easiest way to do this would be to disable the Graphene slider, and then use a combination of Shortcode Widget and Graphene’s Action Hooks Widget Areas feature.
