Flow header image – Help on making a similar one?
-
Hey I really like the design of the “flow” header image included in the theme and I would like to use a similar design in my website!
Did you make the image yourself or did you find it online?
Are there any specific tutorials/techniques on creating such shapes in Photoshop?
Photoshop has tons of tutorials out there… but it’s kinda something that just gets picked up with experience. I’m not sure where the “flow” header originated from.
Photoshop has plenty of effects you can add to images to create certain types of designs. You can always try googling the effect to get an idea how to use it.

Google Tip #4,583:
Go to Google Images. Type in “Photoshop Special Effects” or some similar phrase (“Photoshop filament,” “Photoshop wavy lines,” — whatever you think will work.
Look through the search results. When you find something similar to what you are looking for, click on the link and hope that there is a tutorial on the other end. (On the other hand, you could always add “tutorial” to your search query.)
Doing that, I found these, which are pretty cool:

If you find something, let us know.
