Just installed whatever the most recent recommended update was and got the following:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function graphene_get_menu_class() in /home3/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/graphene-child/header.php on line 116

I’m a total novice at this and none of that means anything to me. Can somebody help? I can’t access the blog or anything.

Try renaming the header.php in your child theme to header-bak.php to disable it temporarily.

There are several ways to rename a file on the server. A couple of the most common methods are:

• Using an FTP program
• Using the File Manager in your hosting’s Control Panel

If you are not familiar with either of the above methods, try simply activating the Graphene theme (this disables the child theme).
