FancyZoom for images

  • Anonymous

I’ve been using a cool plug-in called WP-FancyZoom for about 3 years now and it appeared to work fine with Graphene UNTIL I upgraded the WP version from 3.4 to 3.5.1. It appears to have broken for other users with different themes with even earlier versions of WP

You can see how it is supposed to work on my development site and on the live site.

On my WAMP based local development site, which uses WP 3.5.1, the pictures don’t zoom (and stay on the same page/post) but they go to a new page with the blown up image. YUK! I’m guessing the problem is the newer version of WP, but maybe it’s my WAMP server?

Either way, my searching so far indicates the developer hasn’t paid any attention to it in at least 2 years. So, does anyone know what a good plug-in is that will do the same thing to replace FancyZoom? Or, is this an embedded feature for a paid version of Graphene? Or is there a hack to help it keep working?

It appears that there is something wrong in the configuration of my localhost WAMP server. FancyZoom works just fine with Graphene v 1.9 and WP v 3.5.2.
