Expanding the width with update

    Thanks for the update really enjoying how things look. Unfortunately, i had to edit some things using my child theme because the update seemed to have thrown things off a little. I have managed to fix most of it however my current issues are:

    1. The header image is not the 1024px x 198px i have intended for. I have changed the image and still have my previous functions.php with:

    <?php
    function graphene_custom_header_width(){
    return 1024;
    }
    function graphene_custom_header_height(){
    return 198;
    }
    add_filter('graphene_header_image_width', 'graphene_custom_header_width');
    add_filter('graphene_header_image_height', 'graphene_custom_header_height');
    ?>

    any ideas?

    2. my home page footer widgets are not being properly formatted for my width since the update. How can i resolve this?

    3. in the slider if i click on view post, it takes me to a new page which unlike the other pages is wayyy off to the left. it is not taking my formatting options from before.

    please help.

    heres a link to the page.

    thanks alot and once again, great theme i have donated and will continue to do so since it is by far one of the best. cheers.

    also to add my header css is the following

    #header{
    background-color:#000;
    background-repeat:no-repeat;
    height:198px;
    width:1024px;
    position:relative;

    -moz-box-shadow:0 2px 5px #555;
    -webkit-box-shadow:0 2px 5px #555;
    box-shadow:0 2px 5px #555;
    }

    #header_img_link{
    text-decoration:none;
    width:1024px;
    height:198px;
    display:block;
    position:absolute;
    }

    The style in your child theme’s style.css file is the issue:

    .home.page .post .entry, .author .post .entry, .nodate {
    width:990px;
    }

    Try removing the .nodate class from that line.

    Also, reduce the #container width to 1024px. The latest version no longer has padding in the container.

    thanks Syahir once again your suggestions have been on point. Your theme is also great and donating to your efforts is well worth it. Everyone donate!

    my remaining concerns are the home page footer bars. they are not proportional to my width. i chose the 2 footer widgets but they are too small how can i fix these values?

    also the posts are working but they seem to have some padding or something making them indented to the right how can i fix this?

    For the footer widgets, add this to the Custom CSS:

    #sidebar_bottom .sidebar-wrap {
    width: 468px;
    }

    For the posts, in your child theme’s style.css file one line 145, add the .nodate class so it becomes like this:

    .page .post .entry, .author .post .entry, .nodate{

    thanks Syahir the footer has been fixed, much appreciated.

    i cant seem to fix the posts though they are still being displayed slightly to the right and not using the whole space.

    I have added the code as you suggested but hasnt changed at all. Ive also tried expanding the values but does not seem to change anything.

    Look carefully at the code to add:

    .page .post .entry, .author .post .entry, .nodate{

    And this is what you added:

    .page .post .entry, .author .post .entry.nodate{

    Syahir, thank you so much for the help. It is once again working like a charm. Expect to have a donation from me at the end of this month and then on. I support great work and i am absolutely thrilled and pleased with your work.

    Will recommend.

    Thanks again,

    David A.
