Hi,

I got stuck (again)… I want to do some modifications to the excerpt on the front page. I installed a plugin for the excerpt to limit the number of words and to change the “read more” button but excerpt plugins I am finding are very limited. I don’t like to use a lot of plugins.

What I would like to do is described in the images…

Both issues can be handled through a custom functions.php file in your child theme. Do you have a child theme set up?
