Dropdowns within a dropdown not smooth
-
I’m trying to get my menu back to normal and have almost gotten it the way I want it. But right now it looks like this: http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g97/mjoygirl/Screenshot2011-08-08at12408PM.png
can anybody help me make the first dropdown not have that extra space at the end, and also have the side dropdown be closer? I’ve tried using the Navigation Menu option is Graphene Display Options and I’ve tried editing the stylesheet.
Anybody?? I’ve got my site exactly how I like it now with exception to that pesky dropdown…..
Also the more I look at it, it looks like it’s because I removed the arrows…. and I don’t know the code to get them back. It’s almost impossible to click on the categories that are tied to the main dropdown because of it. Sorry I don’t know what they’re actually called. If anybody can help, you can see I’m desperate.
now I’m noticing it’s the opposite in Firefox….. http://www.makinmemoriesphotoblog.com

Hurm..did you modify the theme’s stylesheet directly? Or are you using a child theme?
I have to be honest and say that I can’t figure out how to do a child theme. I’ve tried to read through the steps… but I’m just too new to this whole editing thing. But I only edit a couple of things (at least that’s how it was in the past) so I just would go in and change those when I updated. I’ve got it pretty much fixed, except I don’t like how the dropdowns without another submenu (or whatever) are smaller than those that do have one.

Try restoring all of the theme’s CSS codes for the navigation part. Then it’ll be easier to help you customise it to how you wanted.
I’m not sure how to do that without it redoing everything..
