I can’t seem to figure out where the double video is coming from but when we do a video post the video seems to double and off set a little but with a standard post the video is fine.

I have a child theme but this started happening with the theme update.

What files do you have in your child theme?

The child theme only has a css file but I’ve isolated it within the theme template by switching to the parent theme and the double players are still there

Are you using any plugin to add those videos?

I use the jetpack plugin but I’ve disabled the youtube short code embed part of it and then the plug-in it self and the double player is still there, also i’ve disabled all plugins in the installation and it didn’t work

actually it turns out that our posters copy the main text to the excerpt so with the update allowing the excerpt on the side of the post describing the post it ended up rendering the video player
