Don't want the posts displayed on the home page

Hello guys,

I don’t want to show the posts on my home page, how could I do that?

Instead, I want to make the layout of my website’s homepage, look like the one of the Demo site’s home page(https://forum.graphene-theme.com/). On the demo site,under the slider, it shows a text box with welcome messages, and the excerpts of pages.
