Domain Name and URL

I built my website at govstrategicsolutions.org/wordpress; I now want to point the domain name repderricksmith.com to it – which I can do, however, the url shows up as gov….. Is there a way to use the desired domain name without having to move the site? I know this s/b a question for wordpress.org, but I’m having trouble logging into wp to ask the question.

Well, definitely not a theme issue, not even WP issue.

I think that cPanel have something like redirect in Domains box. You have to “bluff” browser to displays the redirected domain name.

Sorry, I had no experience with such things.

What you’re looking for is called “Frame forwarding”. You should be able to set it up quite easily via your domain name’s registrar control panel.
