Display Category Description

    Is there a way I can display the category description on my side bar (a widget option?)

    Nope, the theme does not provide this facility. You can probably achieve this by using some plugin, or by adding some code to your child theme’s functions.php file. Try asking on the WordPress.org Support Forum, you’d probably get more support on this issue there.
