Different # of posts listed on front page vs. archives

    I have WP set to display 5 posts max. This works well with the archive pages (e.g., posts within a category). I want to list only 2 posts on the front page, but it displays 5 there, too. I couldn’t find anything in the Options items to adjust this. Any advice?

    This is one of the last things I need to address for my customizations. Any ideas would be great.

    You might want to try the Custom Post Limits plugin.
