Different CSS Styling For Excerpts & Full Posts
AnonymousAugust 25, 2011 at 4:50 pm #1619
Is it possible to set a different css class for excerpts (eg posts in a category page) to that used when showing the full post (page just showing one post – http://www.localgardens.co.uk/bakugan/bakugan-starter-pack/)
The reason I ask is because I tried changing the post css so as to be able to show 3 columns of post excerpts (e.g. http://www.localgardens.co.uk/category/bakugan/) as opposed to just 1 excerpt on each line. The problem is that the full post appears to use the same css styling as the excerpt and so it has also changed the look of the post on the full post page (e.g. http://www.localgardens.co.uk/bakugan/bakugan-starter-pack/).
Having looked around online I found out to have different post css styles depending whether the post is on a page (e.g. homepage) or in a post category page but have not been able to find a way of distinguishing between the excerpt style & the full post style.
Any help would be much appreciated.
NB: The domain the site is on at the moment is just for live testing and not the domain the actual site will be on.
Just realised that the links I provided no longer work due to some changes I have made to the site since so just wanted to add some new ones as I don’t seem to be able to edit my original post now.
