I’d like to get rid of the header on the pages. For example, if the page name is Home, it says Home on the page. I’d like to get rid of that since I think it’s redundant as it’s selected in the menu. Can someone please tell me where I can find this code in the files?

If You use Build-in menu You can name & rename both places to Your needs:

http://www.yoursite.xxx/wp-admin/nav-menus.php

Why not supply URL to the site?
