    Hi there,

I’m trying to create a customer sidebar for my Buddypress Members page and no matter which pluggin I use I just can’t get it to work. I create the new sidebar and associate it with the page and remove the standard sidebar in the plug-ins options, but no matter what I do or which plug-in I use I cannot get the new sidebar to display and the default sidebar always displays.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you tried to do the same thing and found a plug-in that worked? I’ve tried maybe 7 different plug-ins and am pretty sure it may be a Graphene thing.

Have you switched to the default 2014 theme and tested to verify this?

If I can pluck up the courage to do that, I’ll give it a try lol

Well, what a way to trash a site….but yes, on 2014 it works

I take it all back, my beloved Graphene restored the site back to how I left it by the looks, sorry, I assumed I was going to have to build it all again.

Do you think I’m going to have to get into the world of child themes to do this? What I would like is to specify different sidebar look and feel for the members profile pages, so they can load music players and have a better customisation of their profile pages.

Please provide the link to your site so that we can have a look.

How do you create a new sidebar? Which plugin are you referring to above?

I’ve tried quite a few, but the one I am using right now, which I tested with 2014 is Sidebar Manager Light
