Custom Menu not working as select element

    Hi,

    I’m using a custom menu on my mobile site and placing it in the header menu area. The menu only contains parent pages as I did not want all the child pages on the select menu since they took so much space. When I place the menu there it works as long as I don’t use the <select> option. The same holds true for the footer area. Any ideas?

    How does it not work exactly? The menu items are not displayed?
