Creating Pages that display the Category Archive that is in the Menu under the header

I know it should be simple, and I have spend 4 hours in the Wiki and the forums, but I have not been able to figure it out. I have tried two plug ins (Map Categories to Pages and Posts for Page Plugin) but neither work like I would like it to. Posts for Page Plugin does create a page (“Training” on my top menu) but the formatting is horrible. (http://michiganconservative.com/training/) I would like to put in the menu on top, (http://michiganconservative.com/category/training/) and that displays beautifully.

I am using a child theme using the “One Click Child Theme” by tychay but that was after I had change most of the colors in the main theme. (I didn’t know about child themes at the time. And if anyone could tell me how to change the blue text in the Category Archive, I would appreciate that also. I found everyplace else but there.)

Using a week old fresh install of WordPress 3.3.1 on a Godaddy webhosting plan that was installed with their one click option. The other Plugin that I have installed is Jetpack by WordPress.com.

Create a custom menu and add Training category archive item to it.
