    Hey everyone,

I’m not sure if this is a bug but how come the comment form for Graphene doesn’t retain the name and email of the commentator? They have to manually type it in every time. Please advise.

    thanks!

Nope, not a bug. I’m not even sure it’s a Graphene issue. I think it’s related to cookies.

Does this happen just with you or with one or two other people? Then perhaps those browsers aren’t set to allow cookies. Try changing the cookie settings and see if the same thing happens.

Does this happen with everybody? Then it may be that your ISP doesn’t allow software to set cookies. (I’ve never heard of this, but it’s possible.)

    Hey Kenneth,

It happens to all the supporters/commentators. My cookies are enabled. When I visit other wordpress blogs, my info is automatically retained there. I notice that on Graphene specifically, the name and email needed to be typed in manually every single time. My friends who also have graphere template share the same problem.

    Any idea to fix this?

    Hey Syahir,

Is there an option for the fix? I updated my template but still got the same problem. Thanks!

Graphene 1.6 does not include this change. Graphene 1.6.1 will. But if you can’t wait, replace the content of the theme’s includes/theme-comments.php file with the updated one here:

    http://code.google.com/p/graphene/source/browse/branches/1.6/includes/theme-comments.php?spec=svn298&r=298
