Combine "Latest Posts" with at least one "specific" in the slider

  Hi,

  would it be possible to allow sticking one post in the slider, determining it to always be the first one (like a “greetings” post), and making the others to be the latest posts from categories? (or some other option, but this one is what I myself would find useful).
