Child Theme Template

    Hello,

    Attempting to create a ‘child theme template’. Viewed a u-tube tutorial on how to do it. I have the graphene folder containing the style css and functional php, but now I am stuck with how to use the ‘core-ftp’ because I am having no success in connecting with the server.

    Do you have any suggestions on how I can connect with the server without compromising my computer software?

    Make a .zip of your child-theme folder and upload it using Manage Themes in WordPress Dashboard –> Appearance.

    Forgive me, but how do I make a .zip of my child theme folder? Please step by step.

    I have a compressed zip file, but (I know this is probably painfully obvious) how do I upload it under the Appearance-themes?
