Child theme etc Confused

    Hi All,

    I will admit that I can find my way around wprdpress but would not say that i have a huge knowledge. I have set up a child theme but get confused when people talk about editing custom CSS /footer etc. What does all this mean and how do you do this in a child theme. When i go to editor the only thing in the child theme is style.css.

    Any help appreciated.

    The only thing you really need in a child theme is style.css, so if that’s all you are seeing, that’s okay. (You can also use a child theme functions.php if you get really ambitious down the road.)

    Custom CSS is a Graphene option that lets you enter custom CSS without creating a child theme. You can read more about it on the wiki:
