    I would like to change the blue/purple color in the comment section. What should I add to my child theme to change it?

    You can use the Firebug addon for Firefox to identify which elements need changing in the CSS.

    I’ve tried looking for the right piece of code, but I couldn’t find it. Can somebody please help me out? I want to change the color of the blue/purple background behind a comment.

    I have been trying it for hours now, but I just can’t get it to work. Can somebody please help?

    Example: http://fastforwardandrewind.com/?p=725#comments Every comment has a different background color (silver/grey or blue/purple) I want to change those color’s.

    Here are the blue/purple background color:

    #comments ol li.comment.depth-1, #comments ol li.pingback.depth-1, #comments ol li.trackback.depth-1 {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #E9ECF5;
    border-top-right-radius: 30px;
    margin-bottom: 10px;
    padding-right: 20px;
    }

    And the silver/grey:

    #comments li.bypostauthor, #comments li.bypostauthor.comment.depth-1 {
    background: -moz-linear-gradient(left center , #EBEBEB 0pt, #FFFFFF 50%, #EBEBEB 100%) repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    box-shadow: 0 0 4px #555555;
    }

    New color codes You supply, right 🙂

    I tried using Firebug and I found ‘li.comment’ but now I see I didn’t use to whole code, so that’s why it didn’t work for me. I really need to practice more using Firebug. Tomorrow I’m going to watch at the code again and see what exactly went wrong. Gotta learn from my mistakes 😉 I tried so many things yesterday, and looked at it again today and I just couldn’t get it to work, so I posted my question here (I started to get a little frustrated ;P). Thank you so much for your help!
