Changes added to child theme do not work

  • foxhunter

    I just upgraded to 1.8.1 and created my a child theme (finally). When I add changes to it, nothing happens. But if I copy and paste directly into the custom CSS box in the Graphene options, the changes take effect. What am I missing here?

    Child theme is active and setup correctly.

    What changes did you make to your child theme?

    Here is what I currently have in the custom CSS box in the theme settings:

    h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {
    font: arial, "Pontano Sans", sans-serif;
    margin-top: -3px;
    font-weight: bold !important;

    #developer {
    display: none;

    .post-1560 .post-title {
    display: none;

    .post-title, .post-title a {
    font: 24px arial, "Pontano Sans", sans-serif;
    color: #1772AF;
    margin-top: -3px;

    If I delete it, and paste it into my child theme, none of those properties are displayed.

    Please post link to your site.

    Try adding !important to all style declarations.
