Change Sidebar, widget Titles

on my http://mommynmeblog.com website all my sidebar widgets are so plain..I know how to change the color of the bars but I wont to remove the color completely and just use my own design.

And I guess my question is can I.

Am I able to have my sidebar titles say About Me, Sponsors, Twitter but maybe have a star next to all the titles.

I have been trying to figure out the code but I am completely lost.

Just use a text widget and type in what you would like for the title. If you are going to create links in those widgets, you will need to know some very basic html.
