Change permalink in navigation menu

I am pointing a URL at one of my wordpress PAGES and need to change the permalink to the url or (I guess) Google search will punish me. Do you know the file that I need to edit in order to do this? Thanks in advance.

Which page, and in what way will Google punish you? (Never heard of this, so curious.)

Permalinks apply to your entire site, but you can (generally) edit the permalink by clicking on the “edit permalink” section at the top of the post/page editing pane.

I want to point http://www.wnyplga.com at http://buffalogolfer.com/wordpress/wnyplga/ â€Ž

The server host says that I need to make a change somewhere. His words:

“For both. If I change the wordpress code to use the domain name in all

links instead of what you’ve coded it to, you’ll have the same pages

on buffalogolfer.com and wnyplga.com – same page in 2 sites. Google

penalizes that, which is also why it’s good to have that link changed in

the menu to point to wnyplga.com instead of buffalogolfer.com/wordpress/wnyplga/”

Just do an .htaccess redirect from http://buffalogolfer.com/wordpress/wnyplga/ â€Žto http://www.wnyplga.com.
