Read this: https://forum.graphene-theme.com/graphene-support/header-image-size-change

    but want to see what is the updated info as this is old

    Thank so much

    Yes, that is very old.

    Under the latest version of Graphene, you can adjust the width of your site in

    Graphene Options >> Display Options >> Column Width Options

    To adjust the height of the header, go to

    Graphene Options >> Display Options >> Header Display Options >> “Header image height”

    and enter the height of your desired header.

    Note: you will need to create new header images to match the new dimensions of your header.

    I do not have the option you are describing under here

    To adjust the height of the header, go to

    Graphene Options >> Display Options >> Header Display Options >> “Header image height”

    and enter the height of your desired header.

    Do you have to be upgraded to the lastest upgrade. I did not upgrade because I was worried if my site would function properly.

    Please advise.

    I would like to upgrade to the lastest version but what concerns do I need to address that could change with the upgrade?

    You can read the changelog for the list of changes. If you haven’t modified the theme’s files, or haven’t made extensive customisations, there’s probably nothing to be concerned about. But in any case, do post back here if you encounter any issues.

    You you say modified the theme files…what files would these be? I have only added to the Custom CSS items you have had me add over time

    #footer {

    clear: both;

    }

    .homepage_pane img {display:none}

    #developer {

    display: none;

    }

    that’s it.

    I have customize the theme as it doesn’t look like when I first installed it: my site: http://www.milesmomma.com

    So how much work will I have to do….Will I have to go back and redo all the customization? Is this what you are saying. Is this a good idea or just stay with what I have.

    If I stay with what I have can I still customize the size of the header?

    Custom CSS is okay. As long as you haven’t actually opened any of the theme’s files and and edited its contents, then you should be fine. Customisations done via WP Admin are fine.

    Okay….so all the customization done through the Admin will stay and not reset during upgrade? Correct?

    So my solution for creating custom size header who be to:

    1. upgrade

    2. do the following:

    Under the latest version of Graphene, you can adjust the width of your site in

    Graphene Options >> Display Options >> Column Width Options

    To adjust the height of the header, go to

    Graphene Options >> Display Options >> Header Display Options >> “Header image height”

    and enter the height of your desired header.

    Do I have it all correct?

    Yeah, anything saved in Graphene Options will be retained even after the theme update. Same happens with a child theme as well.
