Can you Pull the Header Image from an HTML Link?

    Hey Guys – Just wanted to get some feedback on if its possible to Can you Pull the Header Image from an HTML Link?

    I have been working on speeding up my site, and one of the things thats loading slow is the header, I want to to see if the site loads quicker if I am able to make this change.

    The header image is just a background image, which you can override using CSS. Something like this:

    #header {
    background-image: url(place url here) !important;
    }

    Hey Syahir – Thanks you! Am I putting that code in my Header.php file? and can I just put in anywhere? or do I have to put it in a specfic place?

    No, do not do that. If you modify any of the theme’s files, they will be will wiped out next time you update the theme.

    Instead, the code I provided above is a CSS code, so you can place it either in the theme’s Custom CSS option, or in your child theme’s style.css file.

    Okay thank you Syahir! Right now I got my SiteSpeed to 91 out of 100% so I will hold on to this and maybe try it down the road.
