Can I delete the borders around pictures?

    This may be a silly question but I’ve got to ask it. when I add images in a main page, I get a thin border around them. I have also tried to style some things in tables, setting the border to “0” but the line still appears. I am trying to incorporate a transparent image into the page so it looks like it is floating there, but it has the border around it. Please help. Thanks for your time.
