I have two questions pertaining to Buddypress & Graphene compatibility.
1) There are some ideas floating around the net about “making your theme compatible with Buddypress,” however, I’m not sure if their solutions are accurate, when dealing with Graphene. I’ve tried the “bp-template pack,” without success, and I’ve also tried using a plugin called “Buddypress Custom Profile Menu,” but it has numerous errors when I try to use it.
The main thing I’m trying to get out of any necessary tweaking, is to make Buddypress pages adapt to the width of screen space which is available under certain Graphene circumstances. (Like when there are currently no sidebars to display, I would like for the Buddypress page to expand.
2) Regarding Graphene Neo & buddypress, my question is this: Is it possible to create a buddypress child theme for Neo? My buddypress child theme changes are not reflecting in my Neo theme.
The root of all these problems is that I love Graphene, but can’t be without Buddypress.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thank you!AdminQuote:2) Regarding Graphene Neo & buddypress, my question is this: Is it possible to create a buddypress child theme for Neo? My buddypress child theme changes are not reflecting in my Neo theme.
I assume a BuddyPress child theme is just a normal WordPress child theme, right? If so, then you can create a child theme for Neo, which essentially will be a BuddyPress Neo child theme. Just make sure to select the child theme in WP Admin > Settings > Any Mobile Theme.
