    Hi everyone,

I have a problem with this all and all good theme and I need help from some advanced users.

    1. How to set individual background to any post? Plugins like custom background, background per page,…and a like, does not work…

I have tried editing style.css on content area and nothing…like it does not work (I have all permissions from ftp server-upload button is displayed).

    2. How to set custom font on menus or page titles? Or how to change font on anything that is not in graphene options menu?

I can’t show page because there is nothing on it, those problems keep me from going further in development…:-(

I did read some forums and there is no clear answer to this problem.

Have you searched the forum? All of these issues have been answered many times previously.

Yes but they didn’t say anything where to put code exactly or alternative way. Why does plugins that are made for this don’t work? Can you at least tell me is there any that works for you?

Every post, page, widget, etc. in WordPress gets a unique ID. If you use your browser’s “View Source” function, or the Firebug addon for Firefox, it is very easy to find that ID and target that particular page with CSS. No plugin necessary. There are many examples of this in this forum.

First, don’t edit theme files, or you will lose your changes at the next update. Second, be sure to flush your browser cache (and your server cache, if you are using one) after making changes.

There are two ways to do this. First way: add your CSS code to the Graphene Custom CSS option (under Graphene Options >> Display Options). Second way: create a child theme and add your CSS code to your child theme stylesheet.

There’s no point in using a plugin for something that you can control with CSS. The more plugins that you use, the greater your chance of having a plugin conflict.

Without knowing which plugins you have tried, it’s impossible to say exactly why they didn’t work, although caching is always an issue. (See above.) It’s possible that they were written for a theme or theme that puts its posts and pages together differently.

We can’t really teach basic CSS in this forum (there are resources listed here), but we can definitely point you in the right direction if we have some idea of how much CSS you already know. How good are you with basic HTML and CSS?

OK, I understand that you are saying except part about custom css in display tab. I know where it is but don’t know how to form a string line that will work. All examples that I have found says only one part of string not the whole part with star and end line. Can you please write down some examples or this particular solution to a problem?

Inspect element trick does not work fine because when I set (I use Chrome) inspect element I get lines that I don’t know where to find and they are not same as in style css or any other. Please can you direct me in right way?

About child theme, can I just copy this one and name it child in site ftp folder? and continue to work on it with changes in style.css? will update still affect it or not?

Sorry I’m asking some q’s that are probably answered before but I need this explained this way, because I can directly apply it. Please understand me. 🙂
