Background gradient in child CSS

    #4353

I am trying to specify all display options, including background, header, widgets, links, text etc., in a child CSS rather than in Graphene Options (I have cleared all the options).

I am using gradients for the background (.bg-gradient) with the image set to “none”. It is still showing the Graphene bg_g.png for the background.

    Any ideas?

I was able to get the gradients working by using a generous amount for !important’s.

I also had similar issues with the #header which was complicated even more by including an image with the gradient.

I think my new mantra for overriding both Graphene and WP settings in the CSS is — when in doubt, use “!important”

Did you make sure to clear both your server and your browser cache after making any changes? See this post: https://forum.graphene-theme.com/graphene-support/if-you-change-something-and-nothing-happens
