    Hi,

    I’m trying to customize the background color for the left column on some of our pages. It’s not working.

    http://ncfca123.org/wordpress/about-ncfca/

    <table style="width: 878px;" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="1">
    <tbody>
    <tr valign="top">
    <td valign="top">
    <table style="width: 200px; background-color: #660a0a;" border="0">
    <tbody>
    <tr style="background-color: lightgrey;">
    <td><a href="http://www.ncfca.org/AboutNCFCA">About NCFCA</a></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>

    Moved to Support. Please post in the correct section next time.

    Put code in between backtick (

    Code:
    `

    ) characters. It’s usually located above the Tab key on your keyboard. I have corrected this for you.

    Use Firebug to help you identify the elements you need to change. And use these links to get a start on figuring out CSS.

    So why are you including code for a table? Tables should be used for tabular data, not for page layout.

    I have been asked to move material from an existing site. This is how it is currently set up on the other site, and I don’t know another way to do it. I will look at the CSS sites.
