I’ve been using the theme since shortly after it was released, and I’ve tweaked it quite a bit to fit my needs through HTML and PHP editing. However, every time you release a new version, all of my changes are erased and I’m forced to go in and reapply. We can do that relatively easily, but allowing me to delay updates by making me confirm the update (like WordPress does with plugins already) would allow me to wait until off-peak hours to make the change and fix all the problems.
Is there any way to do that now, that maybe I’m missing in the menus?
Never edit theme files directly. Instead, make all your changes through a child theme. This will circumvent this issue.
