Another version of website with different language and script

Hi all, wondering if you can help with something…

We’re keen to get a Tibetan language version of our website up and running.

A Tibetan-speaking designer has proposed designing a whole new website, however I’m sure there’s a way of just building all the existing webpages in Tibetan with Graphene theme (and just incorporating ‘view in Engish/Tibetan’ buttons through the website)…

Someone has suggested using http://wpml.org/ – does that sound feasible?

Issue is no one has experience of making or editing websites, other than myself – but my knowledge is v basic and I speak no Tibetan! Would it just be easier to pay this web designer to make a whole new version?

As it’s a non-profit org I’m just keen that we save the money if this i something I could do myself. Thanks for your help!

Yup, Graphene is compatible with wpml. I think it’s better to use it instead of designing a whole new site for Tibetian language.

Trust me, just use WPML rather than designing a whole new website for a different language. Not only will you save a whole lot of money, but it’ll also be easier to maintain and update in the future.
