Within the Graphene Footer Widget I have added a Text widget which contains HTML code for displaying images. The images show correctly but when I mouse over the image the ALT Text does not show up. There is ALT text assigned to the image in the Media Library and I’ve also included alt=”alt attribute text sample” within the HTML of the Text widget.

I’m wondering if I need to purge the media images and reload because the ALT text is not showing as I would expect.

ALT text aren’t supposed to show up. It will only display if the image doesn’t load.

To have the text appears when you mouse over the image, use the title attribute instead of alt.

Thank you both for the help. I feel pretty silly for not realizing I was using the wrong attribute for what I was trying to do. The image now displays like I was intending it to, thanks again!
