Allocating a page to multiple parents

    Hi there,

Just wondering if there’s a way to allocate one page to mutiple parent pages. My website is juiceandsmoothierecipes.com

For example, I have a recipe for a beet, apple and strawberry smoothie. I’ve allocated this to the parent page of Beet Smoothies, is there a way to allocate it also to the Apple Smoothie and Strawberry Smoothie parent pages?

    Thanks for any help.

No. By default, pages have a single parent. There may be a plugin that adds this function to WordPress, but I am not aware of it.

However, if you used posts instead of pages, you can add posts to multiple categories. That is really the way you want to go.

Thanks Kenneth, both for the reply, and the heads up re Posts v Pages. To be honest, I’m not awfully familiar with blogs and blog formatting; I’ve had more to do with the traditional website and pages.

I’ve had a bit of a play around with Posts this morning and it’s coming along nicely (I think….). If you know of any good resources that could help me with a bit more detail, I’d love to hear about them.

And, if not, thanks again for the help 🙂
