Hi all,

I’ve been using graphene for a while now and it’s been great. I run adsense throughout my blog but I’m looking to expand run some ads between posts 1 and 2 on the homepage. Is there a thread that talks about how to accomplish putting adsense ads between the posts on the main page?

Have you tried the Graphene’s built-in adsense placement feature? It’s in Graphene Options > General > Adsense Options.

But since you already have a few ads on the sidebar, you might want to limit the number of ads that the theme places (by default it’s 3, the Adsense limit for non-premium publishers). In that case, take a look at this topic:

Thanks for the quick response,

I tried the built in adsense with graphene and I like it except I need to limit the number of ads to 1 as I already have 2 on the homepage now. Can I do that without a child theme?

I’ve been wanting to make one but haven’t done so yet.

Nope, you’ll need a child theme for that. At least, as of the current version. But it’s not that difficult to create a child theme, and there’s plenty of resources available.
