Adding hCard author to the theme

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where can I put this code http://www.wpcub.com/fix-missing-required-field-entry-titleupdatehcard-error-in-wordpress/

in order for me to get rid of the Google Webmaster errors about hcard author and entry-title. In the mentioned article says in the single.php file, but when I open this file the expected lines are not there.
