is there anyway i can add various categories to panes on the front page ?

my site is http://www.the4thofficial.co.uk

i’d like to add them under the slider and remove the About text to a seperate page altogether

can i add panes showing different categories ?

Currently, no. I’ll try to add a feature that’ll allow you to select multiple categories for the homepage panes.
