Add a custom Image to Header
-
HELP! I have been trying for weeks to add an e-book cover image I created my e-cover to the header of my Graphene wp-blog site. I added the image to media but don’t see an option to add it to my header, just pages and posts. I am extremely green at the whole website jargin and how to’s. I don’t know code or even want to know. I just want to know if it is possible to add an image or custom image as in my case to my header.

Well, you’re going to need to know a little if you want to customise beyond what Graphene already offers, but in this case…

I assume you meant the media gallery here, right? Actually, just go to Appearance >> Header and upload your image there. Just make sure that it is 960 x 198 pixels in size.
I did try that though it creates a small rectangular box that I can’t adjust to the size I need. Is there another way to get this image onto the right side of the header. my site is http://www.bookmarketingvirtually.com
It’s a book blog site that I am trying to create to get my Online Book Marketing Specialist certification.

Why don’t you post a link to the image you want to use as your header image.

Not really. But what do you mean “right side of the header”?
Post that image link and I think we’ll be able to get to the bottom of this.

Yes. But you will need to combine those images into a single image that is 960×198 pixels in size. You will need to use another program to do this–either Photoshop (good, but expensive) or GIMP (good, but free with limited/quirky support).
You can get GIMP from here:

I used GIMP to create the header image on my blog, BTW. For a free program, it is amazingly powerful.
